This Privacy Policy explains how NorthMaxVault handles information when you visit the website, create an account, use the Client Portal, transfer or deliver files, contact support, or purchase a paid plan.
1. Information we collect
We may collect account and profile information you provide, such as your name, email address and account settings; service information such as projects, file metadata, transfer and delivery settings; support messages; and technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, login activity and security events.
2. Files and customer content
NorthMaxVault processes files and related metadata so that you can upload, store, transfer, review and securely deliver content. We do not claim ownership of customer files. Access to files is limited according to the account, project and delivery controls provided by the service.
3. Payments
When you purchase a paid plan, payment information may be processed by our payment processor. NorthMaxVault may receive transaction identifiers, subscription status and limited billing information needed to operate your account, but payment-card details are handled by the payment processor rather than stored as ordinary NorthMaxVault account data.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, operate transfers and deliveries, enforce storage and download limits, process subscriptions, provide support, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, maintain records and improve reliability.
5. Sharing and service providers
We may use hosting, cloud-storage, email, payment, security and other infrastructure providers as needed to operate NorthMaxVault. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business reorganization. We do not sell customer files.
6. Cookies and sessions
NorthMaxVault may use cookies or similar session technologies for sign-in, account preferences, security and essential site functionality. Security-sensitive delivery sessions may be invalidated when delivery state or password protection changes.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and transaction records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Customer files and account data may also be subject to plan limits, deletion actions and service-retention rules.
8. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect accounts, transfers and deliveries. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should use strong passwords and protect delivery credentials and links.
9. Your choices
You may update available profile information through the Client Portal and may contact NorthMaxVault regarding privacy questions, access or deletion requests. Some information may need to be retained for security, billing, legal or operational reasons.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as NorthMaxVault evolves. The effective date shown above identifies the current version.
